Somehow I just feel damn stupid. I reached an epiphany today that inevitably, all relationships, be it love, friendship, partnership, teammate - ship, even family comes to an end inevitably. Theres no point in desperately trying to hold on, or questioning whose fault it is that it has come to this, or even trying to make amends that were uncalled for. All relationships just have lifespans, and I guess this is why people come across a lot of other people in one lifetime. If not, then I guess one good friend would be enough. But life's not like that. And I feel stupid for this because it's an issue thats always portrayed on TV and novels, and even Kyou tried telling me. Ha. Oh well. We should just appreciate the people we have around us now, and concentrate on growing relationships instead of those that are drifting, so that we don't ever have regrets, because no matter what the experience, good or bad, it is unique and only that person can give it to you. (Even if you hate that guy, you hate different people to different degrees.)
On a side note: I think our soccer team were the real winners. They're champions in their own right. Up and on. |
